Fast and Furious is back again. Yes, Dom Toretto "Vin Diesel" has not changed a bit. Still cruising around in amazing hot-rods and doing anything possible he can find that is illegal to do with his cars. Dom Toretto now hiding out in the Dominican Republic trying to stay off the radar and is now in high-jacking oil tankers. Still a successful criminal having everything he ans and still has the same girlfriend from the first film. Not for long, someone has assassinated his girlfriend "Michelle Rodriquez", and he is now on a mission to get revenge. He heads back to Los Angles to set the record straight and he is not the only person looking for answers. Brian O'Connor "Paul Walker" still playing it safe is now an FBI agent going after the same people that killed Dom's girlfriend. A group of drug dealers and smugglers led by a mysterious man that no one has ever seen named Braga. If I give away any more of the plot, you will not even have to see the film. There is not much to this one.

Yes Vin Diesel finally did a character that he is actually good at playing . Its been hard to watch him over the years playing in mediocre film after film. Really though what is there not to like cars, beautiful women, and plenty of action. Plenty of stunt driving and even some special effects are added to this film to pull off some of these stunts. If you liked the previous three films , you will enjoy this one as well. Repackaged, a little bit of a plot twist ,but basically the same kind of film. There are a couple strange scenes where they just show Vin Diesel just staring contemplating that I thought were absolutely pointless. Except it does show the limits of his acting ability , real close shots of his profile just showing the torment and pain he is feeling. Give me a break this is an action film and he is supposed to be a tough guy. Stop your crying and go get the bad guys. You do get to see him pull out his old hotrod from the first film and also there is Hurst Olds in the opening sequence that is just awesome to watch flying around. What a car! Still a fun film and good movie to take a date on. Plenty of time in between sequences to enjoy each others company , cause with a completely predictable plot you can afford to look away from the screen. If you want action you will get it.
