The second film made by Clint Eastwood this year "Gran Torino". Starring and directed by Clint Eastwood, this probably the last film where we all will see Clint Eastwood on screen. Clint Eastood plays "Walt Kowalski" and old Korean war veteran , who has been living in the same old neighborhood for quite some time. Even though the neighborhood has changed for the worse "Walt Kowalski" has to deal with his bigoted attitude towards his immigrant neighbors and others living in his community. Walt Kowalski does not have much left, but his prized possession a Gran Torino. Which has been targeted by a local gang as part on an initiation process; incidentally, for one of his neighbors, a young teenager named Thao Vang Lor played by "Bee Vang". Thao has being pushed around the neighborhood by other gangs. Afterward, his cousin Spider played by "Doua Moua", decides that its a good idea to have him brought into the gang. Even if it is done forcefully, but his cousin believes it is for Thao's own good. The way this gang wants it done, is for Thao to steal the prized Gran Torino next door to his home. Turns out that in the middle of the night Walt Kowalski hears a burglar in his garage and runs outside with his rifle to confront them. Although, Thao escapes unnoticed and runs out of the building, without stealing the car.

The very next day the gang that was recruiting Thao, comes by to harass him a little bit. So that, they can give him a second chance to redeem himself to still become part of their gang. Thao is not interested at all, and this is where Walt steps in . He comes out of his house gun in hand. After hearing this ruckus outside, he stands there holding his military rifle. Walt then demands that the gang get the heck off his lawn ;also, for the gang to get out of there. After threatening the gang, they respond back saying they will get him for this. Warning Walt to watch his back.Since Walt was not frightened at all by sticking up for his neighbors child;thus, he gets befriended by the neighborhood as a hero. Although, the confrontation does not stop there.

It was great to watch Clint Eastwood on the screen again for one last time. Clint Eastwood played his character extraordinary, as the grumpy old man with nothing to lose. Also starring new actors Ahney Her, and Bee Vang;also, put on a great performance as well. It has some interesting twists that will surprise you.
