The newest movie directed by Clint Eastwood "Changeling". Starring Angelina Jolie as the main the character set in the 1920's in Los Angeles. It is a true story about a mother who loses her son all based on the Wineville Chicken Coop murders of the late 1920's. The movie starts showing "Angelina Jolie" playing Christine Collins a single mother of one, who works as a telephone operator. On one of her days off she gets called into work to help cover a shift, after promising her son "Gattlin Griffith" Walter Collins, that she was going to spend a day with him at the movies. After returning from work she comes home to realize that her song is missing and calls the police to get help finding her beloved son. After along search of five months the police call her to tell her that they have found her son in a small town in Illinois and that he is coming by train and to come pick him up. The police use this as a big Public Relations story for themselves since they are not in good standing with the citizens of Los Angeles. When Christine Collins goes to pick up her son at the train station , she realizes that the child that they have found is not her son. The police insist that it is her song and that is some normal trauma that she has experienced from the whole ordeal. Not long after she takes her son home, she calls the police back and asks them to continue searching for her son . The Los Angeles police department headed by "Jeffery Donovan" insists that she is wrong still and then lays a smear campaign on her that she never wanted her son back and is delusional.

This story is a captivating tale of the hard ordeals of Christine Collins trying to find her son. Well cast with actors such as "John Malkovich" playing Reverend Gustav Briegleb her pastor that wont give up. Also "Jeffery Donovan" playing Captain Jones of the Los Angeles police department, determined not to be proved wrong or to look bad in the eyes of the public. The movie is done with great detail to maintain the captured story in time . Also for the amount of time for the years passing within the film, it actually flows quite quickly at a steady pace. Clint Eastwood and the whole cast do a brilliant job telling this real life story of hardship that this mother faced, against corruption and all odds.
