Hellboy 2 is the new addition to the Hellboy trilogy of movies. The reason I say this is that they sure have it setup to have a sequel to append to the first two films . No more character setup really, that was already taken care of in the first movie and they get a little more personal with the characters lives in this film . It was very enjoyable and had a good story line i thought . I haven't read the comics at all for Hellboy it makes me wanna pick some up and take a look how they are compared to other comics like Spiderman and X-men. Well this time around Hellboy is still dealing with the fact that his foster father Professor Trevor "Broom" Bruttenholm. He had died in the last film and I hope I'm not spoiling the first film for you right now. Now Hellboy is taking orders from Tom Manning who is now the head of the paranormal organization but, the government isn't liking it at all . They introduce a new member to the paranormal specialist team to help Hellboy, Abe Sapien, and his girlfriend Liz Sherman. But in this film a prince of the elves of the underworld is fed up with what humans have been doing on earth and seeks revenge by releasing the golden army in an attempt to get the planet back from humans and give it back to the mystical beings of the past.

They bring in a new part to the Hellboy, a world that I never thought I would see, the fantasy aspect . I thought they would just keep fighting evil brought from hell or, that was already present on earth . The movie had some funny parts and I wouldn't say exactly hilarious but it was a very entertaining movie that I recommend anyone should see.
