The movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall is about a guy named Peter Bretter played by "Jason Segal" , who has a break with his girlfriend after a long relationship with a TV show actress Sarah Marshall played by "Kristen Bell". The break up hits him so hard he finds it hard to deal with his normal life, and is suggested by his friends to make a drastic change. So, he takes a trip to Hawaii to get Sarah off his mind . Turns out when he get to Hawaii he has trouble getting a hotel room that he can afford. While he is checking into the hotel he runs into his Ex at the frontdesk of the hotel with her new found rocker boyfriend "Rusell Brand". The Frontdesk Agent "Mila Kunis" feels sorry for him and lets him stay in a suite in the hotel for free. While staying at the hotel, Peter try's to deal with the fact that Sarah is staying there with him in the same resort off his mind. With the help of the hotel staff, they take him out to do beach activities like surfing and beach parties to get him back on track. He also slowly starts to fall in love with the hotel deskclerk, Rachel. Then Peter is stuck in a deliema and needs to decide if he should get back together with Sarah or maybe take his chances on Rachel.

This movie I thought was absolutely funny. It shows how silly people will act when they end a relationship that probably should have been out of a long time ago in the first place. Plus all the stupid things people will do just to make a relationship work. It has its funny moments and, full frontal male nudity just as a warning to anyone out there. Also quite a few sex scenes in the the Original and Unrated DVD version. But basically this movie is about letting go of the past, your fears of the future and going after your dreams by letting go of your insecurities. Yes Jason Segals character is a bit over dramatic but that is part of what makes this film funny. Especially after you see what one of long lost dreams is in the movie. Jason Segal does a wonderful job and keeps this movie going .Russel Brand, does a great job playing an egotistical rocker that doesn't care what people think, what so ever. If you like the 40 year-old virgin and Superbad you will definitely like this film. Just a great film that you should watch on DVD or even buy when it comes out in stores. A romantic comedy none the less, that would make a great date movie any night.
